Housekeeping Assistant: Job Profile
Your work is critical as a housekeeping aide in keeping a clean and friendly surroundings for visitors, staff, and residents. Your efforts guarantee that seniors have a residence they really call home—quite clean, fresh, and cozy.
Your day will include everyday housekeeping chores, resident communication, and contribution to the residents’ daily life. This is ideal work for you if you have a great work ethic, a sympathetic temperament, and a keen eye for small things.
Major duties
Your responsibilities will encompass those of a housekeeping assistant.
Keeping clean and sanitary areas
- Encourage daily and thorough cleaning of public spaces and guest suites.
- Strictly follow hygienic guidelines whilst cleaning surfaces with a vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitizer.
- Make sure dining areas, hallways, lounges, and restrooms are inviting and clean.
- Good waste management will keeps environment clean.
Building a Safe & Friendly Living Environment for People
- Obey correct sanitation guidelines and practices of infection control.
- Keep tidy and uncluttered areas to protect safety.
- Forward to the management team every safety or maintenance issues you know of.
- Make sure all cleaning materials and tools are well store and maintained.
- Improving the experience residents have
- Give guests a warm welcome and interact with them politely and friendly.
- Residents’ requests should be heeded and their requirements met every available occasion.
- Help to establish a warm and friendly environment by keeping everything clean.
- Be a consistent, attentive presence to help people feel esteemed.
Teamwork Coordination & Job Performance
Coordinate closely with other housekeeping team members to preserve top cleanliness levels.
Help with laundry work including linens washing and folding if needed.
Encourage an effective workflow and assist colleagues during hectic times.
Coordinate with your peers and managers in a concise manner.
